Founded in 1976 by Fred Rae and later led by his son Neil Rae, Gull Petroleum was borne out of a desire to compete with the supply of overpriced fuel by large multinationals and grew to be one of Australasia’s largest independent fuel retailers, comprising over 100 service stations across WA and expanding into New Zealand’s unmanned petrol station market.

Throughout these 35 years, the Rae family managed to uphold their strong ethical values, creating a lasting legacy built around family, independence, innovation and heart.
