WARPNINE is a Western Australian first, not-for-profit, fearlessly forging ahead to find the cancer treatments of the future and improve the appalling survival rates for patients diagnosed with these devastating diseases. 

Funds raised by WARPNINE help to provide patients with early access to revolutionary clinical trials, leading researchers and specialists with funding that enables translational research from laboratory to bedside, and specialised projects that have direct patient benefit, improving both the short and long-term outcomes for patients and those that love them.

Protect Ningaloo work with leading scientists, the Exmouth community and local businesses, photographers and filmmakers, and the broad WA community to raise awareness around the extraordinary values of Exmouth Gulf, Ningaloo.

The campaign aims to protect Exmouth Gulf from the threat of industrialisation, and conserve its outstanding natural, cultural and social values.

Encounter has firmly established its position in the WA theatre landscape as a leader in community collaboration, theatre-making, astute business practice and equity advocacy.

In 2024-25, the Rae Family Foundation are proud to support an ambitious new project - When the Stars Begin to Fall - which will take place in the West-Kimberley region, offering an engaging arts experience to the people of Fitzroy Crossing and having a sustainable economic impact on the community by providing employment and career development opportunities to local artists.

WAFA represent their member groups and supporters and organise a grassroots community campaign to deliver strategic and effective advocacy for the protection of WA’s South-West forests. They are founded on the principle of working for the forests.

Their mission is to see WA’s native forests fully and securely protected and managed to maintain and restore their ecological values, and to empower the next generation to successfully defend them against future threats.

The Albany Community Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation who collaborate to assist local people in our community who have fallen on hard times and are in genuine need.

The ACF endeavours to support the local community in a wide range of activities from providing support to local individuals, families and community projects as well as filling gaps in funding and services for existing charities. 

Acknowledging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have a living spiritual, cultural, familial and social connection with country, FISH seeks to bring healing to the spirit, heart, mind, body and land to help create healthy people and communities.

FISH aims to provide opportunities for First Nations people to share their wisdom and insights to the broader community to teach people how to connect and care for each other and for country, whilst closing the gap and breaking generational cycles of poverty, trauma, and engagement with the justice system.

Line in the Sand (LITS) empowers local communities to become agents of change by enabling projects that conserve and regenerate local ecosystems, providing hope for WA’s future generations that our natural assets will be valued.

LITS works with local action groups, who have a shared vision but require financial and strategic partnerships, to design and implement environmental programmes in the Cape to Cape region.

“Mirnong Maat” is Menang/Merningar Noongar language for ‘Whale Travel Path’ and is akin to ‘Whale Journey’. This research project led by Kate Sprogis, a research fellow at UWA, was initiated to gain understanding of the migratory connections between southern right whales in southwest Australia and feeding grounds in the Southern Ocean

This project was initiated at Albany campus of The University of Western Australia, on Menang/Mirningar Noongar Country.
